I wouldn't say I hate the associate Dr in my practice, but I'm not as comfortable with the associate as I am with the head of the practice. It is a worry of mine, but there is nothing I can do about it and I have to trust they both know what they are doing, cause I don't!

I did at first... especially since I was a VBAC patient and he wanted to schedule me for a c-section at 39 weeks... but I just kept reminding myself that I was going to advocate for myself, and do what was best for myself and the baby - I wasn't going to let anyone bully me

This happened to me. There was a Dr I wasn't a huge fan of. The other Dr. in the office I loved. However the one I wasn't a fan of did deliver me and he was much nicer then I ever excepted him to be. I now actually really like him.

I loved my OB and was hoping she would deliver my daughter. I was ambivalent about one OB and didn't really care for the other - I felt he rushed me, was hard to make appts with him, etc.
In the end he wound upmdelivering my daughter and his bedside manner couldn't have been more perfect. I 'worried' for nothing.

Yes, I dislike one docs bedside manner since day one. She kinda harped on stuff I had no control over and it ticked me off. I avoided her my entire pregnancy.
Guess who is doing my c-section next Wednesday???
I didn't have a choice and couldn't wait any longer, so her it is. Luckily another doc I like will be assisting her, so I know I like one.

I liked 2 and wasn't fond of one....guess who ended up delivering DS.....the one I didn't like!
She ended up being awesome and see her in a whole different light now.

I hateeeeeee one of the docotrs at my practice, and since the pa I love left and one cnm is out with a broken arm it seems I have a 1 in 3 chance it will be her...
I have been told my gestational diabetes I will have a scheduled induction so I will hopefully be able to avoid that all together
