anyone have a bronx zoo membership?
we got information about it in the mail today and it seems like a good deal. I'm not sure I'm reading the information right though. Do you also get access into the Central Park zoo and the NY aquarium??

Yup, and the zoo in Prospect Park Brooklyn and another small zoo, maybe in Queens? It's a good deal IMO

we have it and its defintaly worth it. it pretty much paid for itself in one visit. Im just worried about renewing due to all the talk about cutting funding....mine expires in the summer so we'll see....id hate to spend all that money and what if its closes or something

We have it and love it.
We have even lent our membership passes to friends who have been able to use it without a problem since they don't ID or anything. Definitely worth it!

we had to show ID at the ny aquarium but not at the zoo.

Totally worth it.
Tomorrow I am taking a friend and her DS with me and DD to the Queens Zoo. Won't have to spend a cent!!
We had it last year too and it was great.

I have never been to the queens zoo, the bronz zoo, or the aquarium w/out being asked every time for my drivers license when I show my pass at the entrance gate. We go to the bronx zoo and aquarium frequently.

We have one- and it is just the best thing ever! We have the membership that gives you unlimited access to all the extra attractions at the Zoo that you normally have to pay for (the carousel, children's zoo, butterfly garden, etc). We love it- and it has more than paid for itself.
You get free admission to the Queens Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, Central Park Zoo, and the NY Aquarium.

I was just looking into this and it seems like a great deal.
$159 for the family premium plan and it includes free admission to all the zoos/places stated in the previous post for 2 adults, all their kids and 1 guest.
We went to the Central Park Zoo 2 weekends ago and it was $10 per adult.

Just a little hint. If you get the one that comes with 2 adults, and 5 kids- always leave just 1 adults name on it. We have ours in my name- that way, I can bring a friend (doesn't have to be DH)- and also we can bring up to 5 kids with us. I've taken a friend and her DD with me- and we didn't have to pay anything!

I have only done it at the bronx zoo. But, many times it has been done and they do not ask for ID. Just flash the membership card and they let you walk right through.

The best thing EVER! We bought it last year. There were soooo many weekends that we were looking for something to do, and because we had the membership we just headed out to the zoo for the day. It was great.
