anyone have any recipes for milk allergies

I am currently breastfeeding and my little one has a milk protein allergy, her pediatrician wants me to cut cow's milk ans soy products from my diet. I need some recipes, everything I pick up has milk and/or soy in it.

That is really tough if you want processed foods - you can definitely cook a lot on your own - but I had to put DD on an elimination diet for a while and I cut out dairy when BFing but not soy. Cutting soy and dairy is rough. Most things if they don't have dairy contain soy.

Have you tried maybe somethings like coconut milk yogurt, I think even earth's balance contains soy.

What about things like grilled chicken with lemon, or turkey. Lots of salads with grilled chicken or turkey or salmon, or shrimp.

I just made for my girls and I grilled chicken with lemons, and then a cold gaspacho soup.

To make the soup - I took:
Tomato sauce (I use nature's promise)- or you can use plain tomato juice
blend it with-
red onion
celery
red and green peppers
cucumbers
cilantro

Then you add in some red wine vinegar. Then you can if you want to add salt and pepper to taste (I often leave it out because the tomato juice or sauce has sodium in it) but I know some people like salt.
I don't do this for the girls but I do add tabasco sauce to mine for some heat.

It is soy and dairy free.

Eggs and veggies are good for breakfast as are some cereals. There is a rice cereal like rice krispies but only has rice flour and rice syrup.

you could also try some rice milk or almond milk products as well.

Etd to add that DD has a milk allergy as well as chocolate, oranges, strawberries and shellfish.
