Anyone have bold colors or color painted ceiling?
I am planning my color pallet for the house since I have nothing else but time at this point i figured to do this.
I do plan on doing neutral or safe tints of colors but I like bold accent walls and entry/hallways. But I noticed not many people are doing bold colors as much anymore.
Any samples/pics you have?
I was wondering anyone do a bold color even if it is an accent wall?
How about a painted ceiling?
I plan on doing the living room and dinning room (one big room) that lovely dusty gray blue but the ceiling a mid tone gray with white molding. I am thinking of a royal blue accent wall by the fireplace/tv area.
The entry & hallway possibly a orange or gold.
Bedrooms are up in the air except for the master which I plan on painting a deep red (not firehouse engine more brick)
I just want real ideas thanks!

I think mine are pretty bold.

You are talking to the QUEEN of color my sista!
This was the house i sold in lindenhurst.
my other rooms were tan, taupe, pink and green (pink and green were the kids rooms).

Our kitchen is a burnt orange color (SW Spiced Cider), our guest bedroom is a mauve-y purple (SW Glamour), our office is a choc brown (SW Tree Branch).
Pics in my album - no pics of the office though...

I am doing an accent wall in my MBR, I am going to paint the room BM boardwalk (or fennel seed) and the accent wall in an eggplant/aubergine shade. (just not sure if I want to make the accent wall the headboard wall or TV wall)
I was going to do an accent wall in the LR, but now I think I am going to do something dramatic with the drapes.
I LOVE bold colors (kinda makes me wish I had a formal DR so I could do the brick red color!)
Good Luck, I just went to the store and grabbed about 100 color swatches and figured it out.
