anyone have NT scan results that showed fluid on the neck and heart?

i'm asking the above for a friend who is 12 weeks along and freaking out right now. her blood results can back great, but her scan is showing increased fluid around the back of the neck and fluid around the heart. The dr is having her come in tomorrow for another ultra sound and wants her to have genetic counseling as well.

has anyone been through this??
i never had this done, so i'm not much help to her.

I had a sono at 10 weeks that showed a higher amount of nuchal fluid behind the babys neck. I had to wait until my ultrascreen at 13 weeks for them to look again and do the genetic testing. I couldn't eat or sleep or even leave the house for that three weeks because I was such a mess. When I went for the ultrascreen the fluid was gone, all was normal and my numbers for downs was like 1 in 23,000.

tell your friend not to worry too much.. although it's much easier said than done. things will take care of themselves and i'm sure her baby is perfectly healthy!
