anyone have the new Jeep Grand Cherokee?
We are interested in the Jeep Grand Cherokee,but before we go look, I was wondering if it has plenty of room for infant carseat and my 3 try old's britax. We travel upstate often and I will most likely be riding in between the seats.
In your opinion, is the backseat spacious enough for two carseats and an adult? TIA

anyone have the new Jeep Grand Cherokee?
So funny you're posting this. We're looking at either the Jeep or the new Durango. I really want the third row, but DH doesn't think so (I'm preggo with our first). I am afraid that if we get the Jeep, we'll wish we'd gotten a third row.
Let me know what you decide/any input

We also like the Durango and the GMC Acadia. I JUST LOVE JEEPS, but in the end...I need to fit! I WILL KEEP U POSTED. My husband is out looking now!

I have a 2012 jeep grand Cherokee. I love it. I have a britax marathon car seat in the middle. An infant seat fits also.

Just got the '14. LOVE it. The backseat is pretty roomy, not positive it would fit 2 babies and an adult, but I would guess it could.

It can fit a convertible car seat! Infant seat and an adult in the back. I wouldn't say it's too roomy. My sil put her infant in the back with my toddler DD and they were pretty close. But someone could fit on the other side. I just love it bc I feel safe driving it and the trunk is roomy.

We don't have the new one, but we have an '06 with a car seat and an infant base in the back. It is really tight for someone to sit between them. They have to be really thin and even then, it is not comfortable for a long stretch. Not sure if the newer models are roomier....

We have a 2013 jeep grand Cherokee srt. Her infant seat is behind passenger seat. I think enough room for all to be comfy. I love driving it, feels safe, lots of trunk room.....

We have a 2013 jeep and DS is in a Britax car seat. It's roomy to fit 2 adults in the back with him. An infant car seat would fit there comfortably.

Yes I have one - the Laredo and I love it but I am going to rattle off my complaints:
- We have a Chicco Keyfit infant carrier behind the passenger seat and you have to pull the passenger seat up quite a bit to fit the carseat safely. If we wanted to put it behind the driver side DH would be screwed for leg room. He is just about 6 ft and his knees were so scrunched when we tried the carseat on the drivers side. Not sure how a convertible carseat will fit? If facing forward it may be ok behind the driver side but I suggest putting both carseats in there to see how the fit is.
- It does not appear you can put any carseat in the middle if you are using the latch system.
- The middle seat in the back is VERY uncomfy. I am small and had to sit there between DD in and my MIL and the longest I can last is 1 hour and I am not being a drama queen - it hurts my back and I cant explain it. It is really just the seat it kinda is rounded in the middle section. All other seats are comfy though.
- Last note - I am short (5'3) and it is a bit of a reach to get a baby in and out of the car. Maybe I am just spoiled bc we used to have a crossover Ford Edge and it was lower to the ground.
Ok but I do love the car...it drives well, has big trunk, decent gas mileage, etc. If I had to do it over again I would look at the pilot because it appears to have better space for carseats.
Oh and I should note we have a 2011 but its the new body style and our salesperson said this will be the same body and frame for 3-5 years. But just check and I would recommend putting your carseats in - just plop em in and see how it is.

This. We have two Jeep Grand Cherokees. We have been Jeep owners for over 15 years. We have had an adult between both car seats with an issue.

my sister has the honda pilot which has 3 latch systems in the back. You can put one carseat on the side and one in the middle and then the adult can sit on the other side instead of the middle. when we go places together, we have 3 britax carseats all in the middle row with no problem.

We have the 2012 Jeep Cherokee and 2 8 month old twins. Last month we took a road trip to Fox Woods. I sat in the middle of 2 Britax car seats in the back seat for the whole car ride both ways. I was very comfortable.
