Anyone know how to find real estate upstate?
My in-laws want to rent a cabin/house from November through December in Margaretsville, or surrounding towns (aracadia sp??). Anyone know how to start looking? Anyone know real estate companies up there?

I am a title closer / title broker in Orange Cty (Upstate, but not far upstate). Yet, I do know of a few Realtors Upstate (North of me) and a few mortgage brokers up there as well.

Wow, I haven't heard Margaretsville in FOREVER! My grandparents used to have a house there and recently sold it!
I have no idea as to where to look for rentals though!

you could try the site Catskills by Owner - I've rented through their sister site Adirondacks by Owner with out any problems.
Margaretville falls under the category "Belleayre Mountain Region" as opposed to the Delaware Valley Region where I thought it should be (its in Delaware Cty).
