Anyone know how to make sausage and peppers?

I want to make it for DH....and I am clueless b/c I don't eat it

Yes, I make them all the time. I make 1 of those 1/2 lasagna pans. I get 2 packages of sweet and hot sausages, cut them up into pieces, cut up about 8 peppers, all colors to make it colorful and about 4 onions. I dont put any spray or water in the pan b/c when the peppers and onions cook down then you will get the juice. I season with salt and pepper and cook for an 1hour and half- my oven *****, at 350. My dad can cook it in 45 minutes but I cant no way with my oven. keep turning the sausage and peppers and onions about every 15-20 minutes to cook evenly. its really easy, I eye ball how much peppers and onions I use. the pan will fill up quick but put a lot in, the peppers and onions cook down to nothing. edited to say- you know its done when you see the peppers and onions cooked way down. you can also taste it too, they have to be really soft and wiggly. oh and I forgot I boil the sausage for about 20 minutes before I cut them up, important!- let them cool, they retain water and to have boiling water squirt at you while you are cutting them can hurt!

I do the same thing but add some butter and olive oil, and also some cut up potatoes.
