honestly, I never thought about not getting it......I work in an area where i am exposed to so many sick people and i've gotten it every year since college without a problem

I normally don't get it but my OB strongly suggested me getting one so I did. I can tell you that the one year I did get it that I did not even get a cold that year. Being pregnant puts you at a higher risk of getting the flu so I'd rather get the shot and try to prevent getting the flu. If I didn't get the shot and got the flu I would feel guilty. But you need to do what you feel is right for your body.

Just so you girls know, the CDC very strongly recommends that pregnant women get the flu shot...my ob strongly advised that I get it. Just my 2 cents...I figured it was a no-brainer to get it to protect my baby the best I can
Even if you feel a little sick from the shot (which I did not), it is MUCH better than getting the full-fledged flu
JMHO 
ITA, I got mine! I didn't have any side effects.
