We never swaddled DD. She hated it from day 1, we tried all kinds of swaddling and she wouldn't have it..lol

DS hated it, so he was not swaddled. DD loved it and she was swadlled until 5 months.

DS broke out of the swaddle from the day we took him home. I had bought a million miracle blankets and never used them once. I gave up after a few days b/c he would end up tangling himself in it! But he NEVER slept good - maybe if he would have stayed in the swaddle he would have

We have the same problem- DD hates it and fights to get out, yet she won't sleep without it. So I let her throw a bit of a fit and fight it as I rock & shush her and she eventually gives in and sleeps great. Without the swaddle she hits herself in the face & she wakes up.
