Anyone start feeding baby cereal before consulting dr?
My 3 1/2 month old currently drinks 4 eight ounze bottles a day. Lately he does not seem satisfied when he is done each bottle. My dr insists on waiting until he four months old to start cereal. Has anyone started earlier against their peds advice? TIA!!

I personally didn't. You might want to google starting solids early or search on the board so you can make an informed decision.

I started working w/Kristina on eating rice cereal b4 I was told that it was OK, and the ONLY reason why I did it was b/c she had already been having rice in her bottles for reflux since she was around 2 weeks old....
I started her out with a teaspoon of cereal at around 3.5 months old.
