anyone take Cipro while BF??
battling an awful UTI for weeks now...the "safer" antibiotics aren't working...my OB now prescribed Cipro and said it's safe to take while breastfeeding. Does anyone have experiene with this?

I took Macrobid for a UTI while pg, and while BF. Anything I've found online says that Cipro isn't safe for BFing mamas, but I'm not a doctor. Can you call your OB to double check? They'd know.

I was on cipro right before I got pregnant. My doctor kept going over the dates to be sure I was not pregnant while taking it, so I don't think it is safe
