Anyone take progesterone supplements?
My doc prescribed Endometrium?? They are the vaginal suppositories
Anyone have experience that can tell me what to expect?

Re: Anyone take progesterone supplements?
I have used Crinone which is a vaginal gel suppository. The suppositories can be a little messy so you might want to wear a liner. Some side effects can be fatigue and breast soreness.

Re: Anyone take progesterone supplements?
I was told I would be on progesterone support for the second half of my cycle but I'm not sure what that means yet.

Yes, just wear a pantyliner because there is, um, leakage.

Re: Anyone take progesterone supplements?
ok-- I did it this morning, no big whoop... of course after I figured out how to use the applicator-- a visual certainly would have been helpful in the directions.
Anyway, mine looks like an actual hard pill-- and the RE said if anything comes out, it will just be the pill... Do you all use ones like this?? Just trying to gauge the level of er, messiness.

Mine are plastic capsules that have a powder inside. They look like the pills that most herbal supplements are in thats you take orally. I know there is another kind that is a gell but I havent used them

Re: Anyone take progesterone supplements?
I used Endometrum. I wore a pany liner because of the leakage. Maybe I didn't insert it in far enough but sometimes I just felt gross.
I actually have a box left (never used) if you want it. It's sitting in my closet collecting dust.

Thanks-- I got my 'script filled yesterday-- and I think I got a total of 4 or 5 boxes... So, if I need them-- I will let you know. I had to pay $35, but it seemed like a large supply.
