Anyone thinking about adopting a dog or cats? please help!
My friends mother just passed away and she has a 9 year old SWEET Golden Retriever and 3 cats, also 9 (who have been together since birth). They need new loving homes, if you are interested or know someone who may be, please PM me and I can put you in contact with her for more details!
**she will split the cats if she HAS too, but prefers to keep them together.

Omg - we would be interested in the golden. We have been looking for a companion for our own golden

OMG how heartbreaking when a pet loses a "parent". So so sad.

Oh no...this breaks my heart :(
If she can't find a person, she can reach out to rescue groups. Even if they don't have room, they can post them on their pages maybe. Googling Long Island rescue groups will bring plenty of results. FurBabies, Courageous Cats, Bobbi & The Strays, and Ruff House Rescue are ones that I know are amazing.
ETA: I would post this on Pets too since a lot of animal-lovers venture over there!
