Anyone who's DC is in a car booster seat...
I have a question...
I bought a Graco Turbo Booster for my MIL--she's taking Kate to dance class 1x a week and I couldn't see shelling out $$ for another carseat. This one is meant for children ages 3-10. Anyway, why am I justifying? My question...
How does a booster which uses the car's own seatbelt to secure the child stay in when the child is out of the seat? I'm not sure if this is clear. Do you have to buckle the seatbelt once the child is out to keep it secure in your vehicle? This is what my ILs did, but it seems odd...

We have the same seat for Ry. It stays put, no need to buckle it.
Your question made me a little.

My mom has that seat in her car for my niece. It doesn't move. Don't know why considering how my mom drives but it doesn't.

I just bought that seat for my son, but I tucked it away downstairs to use eventually (can you tell I am so not ready to put my 4-year old in it ). But I know exactly what your asking and I had the same questions!!

We're getting to that point soon. IMO, I would strap it down. If it's a full-size booster seat (with a back), that's a pretty heavy projectile if you get into a car accident. Even the bottom only ones could fly around the car in an accident.
