Anyone's infant suffer from seasonal allergies?

DD is congested on and off, and sometimes worse than others, this time around she's ultra congested and coughing a bit too...she's in good spirits and no fever. Everytime I bring her into the peds office the ped says its not a cold and thinks it may be allergies since DH had bad allergies as a child...I didnt think an infant could have seasonal allergiesChat Icon...anyone experience this with their DC???

my DD used to get runny eyes all the time and a cough...

she is three and a half now and no more runny eyes, but still the occasional cough.

it's common, you hope that they will grow out of it though.

I didn't think they could either but Alexa def has been suffering from them. Her eyes have been red and itchy and she has veen congested on and off. She also sometimes has a dry cough. Andrew and DH and I all are suffering from it bad this year. I feel like it is worse then ever for us.Chat Icon Chat Icon

Madelyn was diagnosed with environmental allergies at 9 months. She was prescribed a daily nasal spray abd it worked wonders. Before she was diagnosed, she always had a clear, runny nose that was persistently reddish as well as congestion. I had thought she was catching colds when in fact she was just suffering from allergies to our cats.
