Applying to agencies
I feel like I"m in a little dilema. Im looking for a new job. I would apply to agencies. But I don't know if I would apply to an agency that the company deals with. Do you think I should apply to an agency the company deals with. I don't want my company to know I'm looking for a new job.

Re: Applying to agencies
I think it would be confidential, they wouldn't disclose to your current employer. But, you might want to make sure they won't send your resume in if there's an opening. I guess you should talk with them first or just be safe and deal with a different company

Re: Applying to agencies
I wouldn't submit my resume to an agency that my company deals with. It's too risky. I find the world is small enough, especially within in an industry, that you don't need to make it even easier for your boss to find out.
Plus one of the agencies my office uses actually turned away one of our employees because it created a conflict of interest for them. We are long term clients and we are the ones that pay them.
