April Mommies to be
I think we have enough girls that are due in April to have a thread for us, just like the March mommies. I didn't want to impose on their thread, so April mommies can post here!
Right now I am 13 w 5 d, and I still have a bit of the gagging reflex, but no actual morning sickness. I have started to show a bit, so I am wearing some maternity tops and they are soooo comfy.

Re: April Mommies to be
Hi!! I am 12 weeks 5 days and due 4/11. I am beginning to show, but feel so big and bloated-not very comfy and cute as I imagined. I have yet to make the switch to maternity clothes, just wearing baby doll tees and my bigger sized pants. My skin is still totally broken out and I still get nauscious but no vomitting. My moods are much better though, which is a blessing!

I go back to my Dr. on the 15th for blood test results. I have had some flutters, but I can't wait to start feeling the baby regularly!! I still haven't told work yet, anyone else?
You're lucky you felt flutters. Girls on here are starting to feel them, I think you are one of the early ones!
And I told work at 9/10 weeks...

hi girls....posting as an april mommy bc i'm due then..but have a feeling my csection might be the last week in march....anyway, i'm 12weeks, 5days today. due april 10th. going for my ultrascreen tonight. have to say i feel pretty good. the hardest thing is my back pain since i lift my 15 month old often...but other than that, i'm holding my own. dying to know what this little one is....going to toss it out there and see if they have any guesses tonight. (doubtful, i know). anyway, hope you're all feeling well!!!

Re: April Mommies to be
Hi All,
I will be 12 weeks tomorrow and due on April 16th.
I just bought a couple of maternity pants at Kohl's (they had 40% off). I don't need tops yet, but will occassionally start to look.
I just feel bloated and really tired, especially around 3pm.
I'm going for the ultrascreen on Saturday.

Re: April Mommies to be
Hey Ladies,
I will be 12 weeks this Friday 10/5, and thank GOD I have no morning sickness to speak of.
Not really showing yet, but not quite the same. I sort of have that "look who has been hiting the drive-thru" thing going on with my tummy.
I'm going for my ultrascreen on Friday. Wahoo!

Re: April Mommies to be
Hi, I'm 10 weeks 1 day today, due 4/29/08.
Still feeling nauseous, although I've only actually thrown up a few times. The worst part for me is the aversion to food because I'm a girl who used to LOVE to eat!
Other than that, just fatigue and there have been days where I can actually feel the hormones surging through my body!! On those days, DH better watch out. He actually told me that one day I said in my sleep I blurted out "the crazies are coming!"
I am so bloated and distended that it woke me up in the middle of the night the other night!! I can't wait till I actually show instead of looking like I have a chubby gut!!
I'm so looking forward to the end of the first trimester so I can relax a little and hopefully not be as worried.
I plan on telling work the third week in October. I have my 12 week sono on 10/12 and I can't wait!!

Re: April Mommies to be
hi ladies! i am 13 weeks 4 days and due on april 7th. happy to meet you all!
i went for the downs syndrome screening today which involved about 30 minutes of ultrasound. the baby was very uncooperative, so it took a long time. i didn't mind; i was so excited to watch the baby for that long! it was jumping around like crazy.
just curious, is anybody else not planning to find out the gender?

Re: April Mommies to be
I am 12 weeks 4 days due April 11th.
I just told work today and am happy I don't have to keep secrets anymore!
We had the ultrascreen last Friday and everything looked good, just waiting for the results. The baby was moving so much the lady had a hard time getting measurements, but finally was able to.
I also thought I felt flutters a couple of times. Hmm I wonder if it really is!!
I have had m/s in the evening and have been throwing up more now than when I felt sicker. I hope I get past this soon.
I am not really showing, but can't fit into my pants and have been wearing a size larger pants.

Re: April Mommies to be
Hi! I am due April 12th. I am 12 weeks 4 days.
I have had no morning sickness. I feel great! I have a little belly. My pants are tight so today, on my business trip to Atlanta, I brought and empty suitcase to fill up at the mall I am going to! (I got to malls and department stores for work).
I love being pregnant so far. Just a little nervous about the baby being healthy. I am sure we are all nervous about that.

This is one of things DH and I can't agree on. He wants to wait and I want to find out. I love the idea of my baby girl being a real girly girl with all pink and my baby boy being a little man with all blue. I don't think I could bear the thought of having a neutral nursery or green and yellow show with all the cute baby things I see out there!! DH really wants the surprise and the moment where he runs out of the delivery room yelling "It's a boy or It's girl!" I guess we'll reach that decision when we come to it!

Re: April Mommies to be
I'm 13 weeks and due April 10. I had my first trimester screening yesterday. The MS has pretty much eased up. I'm still tired, but not as exhausted as I had been. Some days it looks like I'm starting to show and other days it doesn't. I'm still wearing my regular clothes, but I think I'm going to have to dig out my maternity stuff soon. Oh and I'm definitely finding out the sex!

I am so glad that DH I actually agree on this because I don't think I would have been flexible. I want my surprise to come when the doctor tells us ahead of time because I am a big planner. DH is more comfortable planning too, so luckily we both really want to know. Plus, if it is a girl, he will need some time to mentally and emotionally prepare himself.
