Re: April Mommies to be

Some days I feel like I'm showing and other days I think I'm not at all. I broke down yesterday and wore a pair of my maternity jeans. I can still fit in most of my clothes, but the maternity jeans are just sooo much more comfortable! Chat Icon

Re: April Mommies to be

Yup, I too just started to show a bit this week. I began wearing maternity jeans to work 2 days ago, and I felt CRAZY flutters last night in the middle of the night. I think I look PG to those who know it, but to those who don't, I look like I might have been hitting the drive-thru too much. Since this is the first belly apearance for me and I am in the in between stage with clothing, I now have no idea what I can wear to DH's cousin's wedding a week from today. Anything that would have fit me on Mon of this week won't fit the same now, so I don't even know if I will see such a change between now and next weekend.

I am beyond impatient to know the sex. Chat Icon

Re: April Mommies to be

Yep, I think I'm starting to show. The last 2 weeks I've been wearing maternity pants. They are quite comfy!

I can still wear regular tops for now, but I know I'm in that in-between stage for maternity tops right now.

I feel bloated most of the time and I'm back to be very tired and sound asleep by like 9pm. Other than that, I feel fine.

My NT results were fantastic! I'll go for my AFP test between 15/16 weeks (which is over the next 2 weeks).

My next OB appointment is on the 25th.

Re: April Mommies to be

I'm defiinitely not showing yet. Sometimes I feel like I am but it's all just bloat. I'm done with looking fat and bloated. I would love to have a real baby belly. It's so hard to find clothes. I'm not willing to buy a larger size or maternity clothes yet so I guess I'll just keep squeezing into my old ones!!

Hi! I'm 13 weeks and 1 day today and having an April sweetie as well! I've already had my down syndrome testing and everything is fine. Only problem I am having right now is low back pain which is constant and a bit concerning. Let's hope its nothing and goes away.

Re: April Mommies to be

Hi ladies! I'm due April 26th, I'm 13 weeks and 2 days!

I'm still feeling the nausea, I actually think this week was the worst I've felt! One minute I'm starving, but then as I start eating I feel worse!

I'm still not showing and fitting into my regular clothes, but my jeans are starting to get uncomfortable! I think I should start investing in some maternity clothes soon cause I have a feeling one day I am gonna wake up and be huge!

Ok, so who has started to feel flutters or kicks? I started feeling them about 2 weeks ago, very exciting stuff! Right about now, we should all be feeling something, or should any day now! Chat Icon

Re: April Mommies to be

i've definitely felt some flutters here and there.....or so i think! went last week to the high risk doctor and they are 99% sure its a girl...so when i go back on monday (i'll be 18 weeks and 4 days), they're hoping they can be 100% sure. feeling good generally speaking, just have a ton of back pain...but i'm attributing it more to carrying my 28 pound son and my bad back (had spinal fusion almost 3 years ago...Chat Icon ). anyway, hope you're all feeling good!!!! I've been feeling flutters for a while now. Probably since about 12 weeks. With my DS I started feeling them at 14 weeks. They're still very infrequent though. I have my Level II on 11/26. I can't wait!

I am finally feeling a lot better. I haven't thrown up in 4 days. It's a freakin miracle! Best wishes to you all!

Re: April Mommies to be

I'm due April 23rd andI think I have felt the baby a few times. It kinda felt like there was a bug or something crawling inside me. I can't wait to feel him or her constantly.

I also can't wait for my level II in a few weeks.

Ob office, they do it there. I see a doctor at University Associates in E. Setauket.

Are you finding out the sex? We aren't and didn't with the first.

Re: April Mommies to be

Has anyone gone for the glucose test yet? I was given the script early to go do it, but I haven't. I fear that if I go and pass, they'll make me go back to do the 1 hr again when it is really time to go.

Who's your doc? I work with one of the doctor's brothers in that practice.

As far as the glucose test, if you pass, they rarely send you for a second unless they do suspect GD and if that is the case, you would want to know since it can threaten the baby's health if undetected.
