Are all shopping carts created equal?

I want to go to Marshalls wth the baby. I'm going alone. I know at BRU, the infant car seats/carriers fit rigt on top of the shopping carts. Is this true for all shopping carts? I usually need a cart when I'm there, but I can't push Jake and the cart at the same time!

No they aren't, but you can totally finagle it so that it'll work.... Just play with it.

Re: Are all shopping carts created equal?

The shopping carts at Marshalls (at least the ones near me), are half the size of a typical cart, so I would just bring the stroller in and put your stuff in the basket on the bottom.

I used to wear ds and push the cart. I never felt safe putting him on the cart in the car seat. So I got a sling and a baby bjorn. It depended on the day to what I would use.

It's not safe having the carseat on the top of the cart, even the built-in ones. It makes the cart very top-heavy, and likely to tip over.

I agree, put the seat in main part of the cart. Much safer.

Me too, I never put DD in the top of the part, either in her stroller while I carried a basket for shopping items; or put her in the big part of the cart and put items around her or in the top part of the cart.
