Are any suburban moms buying the Bugaboo?
I was all set on buying the Bugaboo Cameleon over our 2nd choice Orbit Baby System.
When we went to buy it this weekend, I realized how annoyingly difficult it was to fold the Bugaboo Cameleon and Frog. You have to take it apart into 2 pieces.
The sales associate reluctantly told us that the Bugaboo is more for urban mothers who don't have to fold the stroller constantly to put into the trunk of a car.
Now I'm considering just buying a snap and go to use with an infant carrier and picking up the Bugaboo Bee.

Re: Are any suburban moms buying the Bugaboo?
since I live in a small apt, I usually store my bug in my car. I don't find it to be that much bulkier then other full size strollers...
you would just put baby in carseat, then fold stroller up...its just that its 2 parts.
the only time the 2 parts is a bother is when boarding an airplane if you don't have the travel bag. At that point, I bungee the 2 parts together.
I don't think it matters where you live, but really, how much walking you are planning on doing.
If you are a walker, get it. you won't live with a single regret.

Its not difficult at all, its just sometimes inconvenient. But its really easy to fold once you do it a few times. My Maclaren (which I love) has more steps to folding than the Bugaboo

i got the bugaboo. its not a big deal to take apart....and for me it does what 3 strollers (snap and go, stroller and jogger) can do. i am sure i will be happy with it!

Re: Are any suburban moms buying the Bugaboo?
I plan to use my stroller for a lot of walking and NOT a lot of errand type trips - The only time I'm really going to get to use the thing is in the 6 months I"m on maternity leave, on the weekends, and on vacation .........
So I am leaning toward the Bug ....If I were going to be a SAHM and constantly taking the stroller in and out of the car, I'd probably opt ouf ot it -
