are anyone's plans to TTC affected by the current economic situation?

if so, please share your story. will you wait until the economy stabilizes? wait until you save a certain amount?

thankfully I have a pretty secure job and dh is actually doing pretty decent right now, which is why we plan to start at the end of the summer



but, there are a lot of teachers who are getting laid off at my school and they should know within the next 3 weeks.

My close friend has been teaching for 3 years and was planning on ttc this summer but she will probably be one of the many laid off. She now is going to put her plans on ttc on hold until she can figure out what her and her dh are going to do. He owns his own company and he is even struggling so she is so scared.

I wish I could do something to help, its so sad.

we started december. i got laid off in january. it did cross our minds, the financial aspect, but we're going ahead with TTC.

i'm working on finding a new job, but i'm not going to stop my life. we'll make it work.

No, it doesn't impact our TTC plan. The current state of the economy is temporary, our desire to expand our family is long term so we will continue TTC.
