Are the bottle warmers really safer..
then boiling the bottles to warm up the milk?

I just run the bottle under some hot water or place it in a pot with hot water in it - I don't heat them up. Apparently this was in the old days, no longer necessary...

When I warmed them I used the microwave after the first week or two.
Now I just use room temperture water.

I used mine the first two weeks and then I COULD NOT STAND waiting for that thing to warm the bottles while DS was crying, so I caved and now I use the microwave....

ETA: I do use the warmer in the car though if I need.
