Are you bringing anything for the bassinet in the hospital??
I remember when I had DD there were other babies that had pics of puppies, kitties, mom and dad and siblings. Will you be bringing a pic for your LO's bassinet in the hospital??
I was planning on bringing a pic of just his new big sis.
Also, will you be making a card with their name for the bassinet? I remember they made a pretty card, aside from the hospital one, with DD's name written out with markers. But I also saw some that looked home made with like scrapbooking stuff on them, with the new baby's name. Will anyone be making their own name card at home prior to baby.
Sorry, I know these are probably stupid questions...lol. This is what happens when you get no sleep at night, you stay awake and think of everything under the sun.

The first few weeks the baby can barely see anything that is more than 3" in front of their face....so I doubt we'll bring any pics at all.

Re: Are you bringing anything for the bassinet in the hospital??
I was thinking of bringing a picture of our 2 uncles that passed away the same month we conceived our LO. They both were pretty young and passed away very suddenly, 1 from DH's side and 1 from my side. Both uncles names were James, so we already know to honor them both, if our baby is a boy we are naming him James. I know it is very common for girls to have miscarriages, but we had 1 earlier this year and were devastated, so we believe they are our angels and helped us all throughout this pregnancy and will be watching over our LO.

I never heard of people doing this.
sounds too much like what people do in the coffin when someone passes.

nah - he has no clue what's going on and doesn't care - and he's way way way too young to be focusing on photogrpahs .........
I'll just let them write his name on there and whell him over to me so I can snatch him up out of that thing !!

My feelings exactly. That and I hope to not be there long enough for it to matter.

Nope. Never thought about it until this post.
I think it is an unnecessary thing to remember to pack in the hospital bag as well as remembering to bring it back home.

Re: Are you bringing anything for the bassinet in the hospital??
Once i found out what I was having, I made a cute sign with his name on it. Got 3-d letters and boy themed stickers. We taped it on the outside of his bassinet. All the nurses loved it, they didn't have to look at the small card.
