I plan on doing both but I'll leave the pump @ home... I know the hospitals they have their own right?

Most women don't have their milk come in until day 3 or 4, so you don't need the pump.
If you plan on really wanting to nurse, don't use the pump until you get a good nursing schedule and milk supply established. Using the pump could cause issues with oversupply.

If you need to pump for some reason, the hospital will have one. I am keeping mine at home (and still in the box, just in case my milk doesn't come in for some reason). They will also give you the pieces that you use, if you do use the hospital pump. Then you will have two sets (if you are using the same type of pump as the hospital).

You wont need it while in the hospital. Focus on latching and bf as much as you can while there and get help every time you nurse so that you are awesome when you go home!

Your milk generally doesn't come in for 3-4 days & they really want the baby to latch on. Both my DC were in NICU & so I pumped both times...they have excellent pumps.
