He's due so close to christmas I would feel horrible having pics of him on his first xmas w/o any presents
so we are only picked up a toy or two we planned on getting anyway w/in his first year and wrapping them up for him if he comes early... and i picked up a baby's 1st christmas ornament which wont go on the tree unless he comes b4 xmas... otherwise it will be returned.

Maybe. DD has been insisting that Santa will be bringing the baby a present too. We explained that since he won't be here yet, Santa won't bring hiim a present until next year. She insists anyway that we're wrong. We may buy one small thing that we'll need anyway & wrap it up because she'll get a kick out of being right 
If we didn't have DD, then I would feel silly wrapping gifts to later open them myself. I hate gift wrapping way too much to do that.

Our baby is due on Christmas Eve and family members keep asking what the baby WANTS for Christmas, I keep laughing because who knows if s/he will even be here then??? I totally undersatnd them being excited and wanting to buy gifts for the baby, but I feel really wierd making up a Christmas list for someone who may not even be here then.
If the baby arrives before Christmas I will buy an ornament for him/her, but that's all - I'm pretty sure s/he won't know what's going on anyway 
We're due date twins and I'm not buying anything either for the baby for Christmas. I dont know if she'll be born yet and I have so much from my baby shower.

No but I'm buying DH a bunch of diaper and changing things from the baby because he keeps joking around telling everyonr that he's not changing diapers!

no, dh and I arent
- now i did pick out a few books, so that we can read them to baby when he's further along & after hes born... and did ask MIL to pick out clothes 3-6m and 6-9m since most peoples shower gifts are newborn/0-3.
but if you are doing gifts, i like the idea of the other poster- you buy a gift- for dh to open- and he buys one for you to open- so it is a Surprise.........

Before DS was born, we had gotten him something small for Christmas, even though he wasn't here yet. We're doing the same for this baby.
