We always stay home and have our friends over. So kids are in bed and adults stay up and eat, drink and maybe watch a DVD

With DD, hopefully, she will be sleeping, she has had this bad cold since Christmas morning.
We are having dinner with my parents, then just vegging with some hors doevres and drinks

I'll be working (2nd yr in a row now) DH is going to a friend's house so DD will be ringing in the new year with Grandma and I'm sure they'll both be sleeping.

We are still debating this. DC is only 1 so he doesnt know what is going on anyway, and will be asleep long before midnight. If we take him with us, it will be noisy and nowhere for him to sleep, plus we would have to drive home at 2am with him in the car. However, the reason we are still debating this is my immense guilt at not having him with us on NYE...which is even greater after reading all these posts!
