As a New Yorker, what "New York" thing haven't you done?

Since most of us live in NY (this same thing can be applied to anyone, though, for all of you non-NYers, what "local" thing haven't you done that people would just assume you have since you live here?

I've never been inside the Statue of Liberty, or the Empire State Building. I took a ferry ride near the statue, and drove bast the ESB plenty of times, but never inside.

I have never been to the hamptons. I drove through it I guess to get to Montauk but that's about it.

I've never been in the Statue of Liberty. I've never been to Ellis Island, Top of the Rock, MOMA or Lincoln Center for a show.

Never went to the top of the ESB but I've been in the building a bunch of times.

Haven't yet been to the top of the new WTC (I had been in the Twin Towers a few times, my aunt worked there on one of the top floors)

Have never eaten at Shake Shack.

Have never been to the Hamptons or Montauk (or the wineries)

Up until last weekend i had never been to montauk in my 41 years on LI.

I think I went to the SOL when i was very young but hardly remember

I've never been to a NY parade or Times Square on NYE. I think I've been to most of the landmarks, but so long ago. I haven't been to the rebuilt Trade Center and 9/11 Memorial. I haven't seen a Yankee game in the new stadium.

I've never been inside the Statue of Liberty, never visited Ellis Island or Governor's Island.
Never been to MOMA or the Guggenheim.
Never been to the Top of the Rock.
Never been to Coney Island.

Never been to the 9/11 Memorial, can't bring myself to do so. Too many memories.

I worked inside the Empire State Building, one of our perks were sunrise visits to the observatory, before it opened to the public.

Never explored Central Park other than visiting the zoo once.

Never been to a concert at Jones Beach.

I've done most things as a tour guide for family visitors but never been to the statue of liberty (but lived in SI for awhile and passed it by ferry everyday) or to the top of the empire state building. Also never been to Times Square on NYE (thats for tourists)

Never been to Statue of Liberty, though I've been to Ellis Island a few times- love it. Been inside ESB but I do not like heights so I have no plans to go to the top.

Never been to Fire Island either.

Never been to the Statue of Liberty. But now that I'm thinking of it, I think I'm going to make a point to plan a trip this summer!
