At-home hair glaze?
Any reviews of John Frieda hair glaze? I just bought the clear one (it comes in a few colors, too) and wanted to get some feedback before I try it.

Re: At-home hair glaze?
I use the clear one a couple of times a week
It does seem to make my hair shinier and more manageable

Re: At-home hair glaze?
lol...one positive review, one terrifying one! Maybe I'll start with the shorter treatment first, rather than the intensive 20-minute thing, in case it really messes up my hair.

I use gloves as I would with any hair dye!

it's not hair dye... it's a clear gloss treatment... when I get it done at the salon they don't use gloves...

I know its not hair dye...but I started with the colored ones and always used gloves b/c it would stain your skin...so when I changed to the clear I still used them

Re: At-home hair glaze?
I have used the brunette one and really liked it, made my hair very shiny.
A few things though: 1-It stains, wash your hands with soap after you rinse (I know you bought the clear, but for anyone who bought a color). It also stains my fabric shower curtain liner.
2-Make sure you rinse it out very well, it wil get on your towels.

Re: At-home hair glaze?
Thanks for the advice, girls!
I never would have thought to wear gloves -- even though it's clear, I'd rather not have all that goop on my hands...

Re: At-home hair glaze?
I use one that my hairdresser gets for me at the beauty supply store. I don't need to wear gloves with it (it's clear) and it has never taken off my nail polish! For this one you have to apply heat for 20 minutes. I would assume it's much better than the Freida. (but you can't buy it without a liscense) I would just worry about the nail polish thing- what is it doing to your hair in that case?

Re: At-home hair glaze?
I have used this too. It was nice, and like everyone else said it made my hair super shiny. I got nothing but compliments on my hair when I used it.
Not sure about the ones with color.

Re: At-home hair glaze?
I love how it makes my hair look and feel. I just found my bottle in my hair basket. I shall be using it today.

I use it. It's okay, nothing to rave about though.
