At what age did you stop using Dreft, Ivory or any other baby laundry detergent?
I'm still have some Dreft left and so I wanted to know if I should go buy more Dreft or just start using what I have for mine and DH's clothes?

I never used it. I only buy perfume and dye free detergent, so IMHO there was no need to buy special stuff for the baby's clothers.

I used Dreft with DS until I ran out of the supply I got at my shower. After that, I bought All Free & Clear or Tide Free & Clear, and I used that for DD's clothes from Day 1.

I stopped using it after a month and then used whatever I use to watch our clothes.

I got one large Dreft at my shower...once that's done I'm washing his stuff with our detergent...Tide All Clear... that stuff cleans amazingly and it can be used for him.

I was given a bottle of Dreft as a newborn gift when Ryan was born. It lasted me almost a full year. Once it was done I started using regular Tide on his clothes because that's what we use.

We used it once (1 box) b4 DD was born. That was really the only time we used it, until the box ran out.

Only used what I received at my shower, then used ours. I did get a lot so I would say about 3 months.

I love the smell of Dreft, and have been washing my own dedicates and undies in it even before DS was born.
I'm super sensitive to perfumes so for me it works. We'll see if DS is as sensitive and decide if he gets his stuff washed with dad's or mommy's clothes.
IMO if you don't notice any reaction in your baby to the scents and dyes in regular detergent, you're probably safe to use it.

I Still use it at 14 months. I love the way it smells and Sasha has sensitive skin. I have used the Tide free and clear, which we use for our stuff-- but, I go through so much laundry detergent anyway-- it doesn't really matter! We buy in large quanitiies at BJS.

I never used the "baby detergent" cause you can just by normal free and clear detergent. We probably switched back to normal detergent when DD was 6 months old or so...

we never used it. We started with regular detergent and was only going to change if she had a reaction. Luckly she didn't.

same here - with miki by 10-11 months, I was using whatever we used, not necessarily unscented

we used ALL clear until DS was a year. never got the point of dreft it has perfume in it

I personally can't STAND the smell of dreft. YUCK
Unfortunately I have a Costco container of it. So we're still using it. *sigh*
Can't wait to get done with it. Then I'm going to Tide.
