At what age do they start to slow down with weight gain?
DS has been consistently gaining 3 lbs per month.....at his 3 month c/u he was 16.4 lbs!!!! 
I'm hoping to keep him in his infant seat until it gets warmer, but if he's gained another 3 lbs at today's appt.....we may not make it....

Around 9 months DD's weight gain started to slow down a bit. She was gaining 2-3 pounds a month in the begining and then between her 9 and 12 month visits she only gained a pound.

i agree- and after they hit a year, forget it...its like, hannah has only gained about 3-4 pounds in the last 9 months (since she turned 1)....

once he started crawling, so when he was about 6/7 months he slowed down.
At 9 months old, he was in 18 month clothes. Now, at 16 months, he's still in 18 month clothes, they just aren't too long on him anymore.

Usually after the 6 month appointment you start to see them slowing down...
Caden weighed 7lbs when he was 4 days old...a week after his 6th month B-day he was 22lbs. I seriously doubt he will be much more than say 25lbs at his next appointment which will be when he is 9 months.

I JUST got off the phone with my pediatrician - I was concerned because the past few days Cailen has had no interest in food...
He said in the 1st yr they triple their birth weight, and after that they plateau and only gain about 10 lbs between their 1st and 2nd yr....
