**** Attending Your Local Tea Party!
I am not opposed to rallying against the high taxes and organizing a bunch of people to get our voices heard. But, I will bet that half of the people who complain will not attend! I am planning on attending the one in Hicksville. Anyone else?
------------------------------------------------ Quoting a previous poster below .... because her post was the first time I have heard this and April 15th is coming fast!
And on the topic of doing somthing about it, have you seen any of the coverage on the growning number of Tea Party revolts (inspired by the first tea party in Boston). Fox News gives it a fair amount of coverage. I'm not sure if it's even been mentioned on the broadcast stations. Tax payers across the nation are becoming more vocal in letting their dissatisfaction be heard. There is a movement afoot for a nationwide Tea Party on April 15th.

Re: **** Attending Your Local Tea Party!
Um...calling these rallies "tea parties" is dumb IMO
The original Boston Tea Party was done in protest to having taxation WITHOUT REPRESENTATION. We have representation nowadays so it really should just be called an Anti-tax raise rally.
