b-day party RSVP's or lack of RSVP's
DS's birthday is next week and i still haven't heard from a few people.
has anyone ever not responded to a party but show up anyway?
Just wondering if I should just figure these people as No's

I had the same situation: I emailed the people in question and they replied that they are all coming but so sorry, just forgot to RSVP.
Just ask them!

Definitely ask - I had 1/2 of the parents not RSVP and I just asked if they got DD"s invitation. They did and just forgot to say that they were coming.

I've never but yes I've had people show & bring siblings too.
I would call them if they haven't responded - especially if the invitation went via backpack. I've had a few people call about invites I've never gotten because (1) their kid didn't hand them all out & left them in their desk. (2) my kid put it in their backpack in a hidden pocket for a "safe place" & forgot it.

I'm in the same boat! Party is next Saturday and I would like to get party favor bags put together, but I need to know how many kids are coming. Out of the 25 or so invited, only 7 have RSVP'd (and 3 come from the same family!!)

I was trying to keep his party small and didn't over invite but now i'm not even meeting the number of guests included in the package unless these 5/6 guest respond yes.

this is such a major pet peeve of mine!!! I have this problem with every party I throw. Definately call...I had to do the same for DDs party and 2 of 3 that hadnt RSVPd were coming!

one mom on facebook has over 500 friends, I know she goes on
