Baby Acne - leave it alone or apply something?

My DS is 3 weeks and has baby acne on his cheeks. When I had my DD she had it too and I didnt do anything other than wash it with some cotton pads and water...but should I be doing anything diffrent? some of the websites say to wash it with a mild soap but i dont know.......

TIA

Mason had baby acne. I was told to leave it be and it will go away on it's own. I did that and he was cleared up maybe a little after a month. Wanna say about 5 or 6 weeks. I wouldn't touch it. Baby's skin is very sensitive and it's just hormones that'll go away.

Same here. DR said to just let it run it coarse and it will go away. It took DD's about a month to go away also.

Same here. I would just wash DD face and neck with a warm washcloth.

Thanks..I will just leave it be. I dont know why I am questioning what I do with him seen as he is my second - I guess its because there is a 3 1/2 year diffrence between them and I am afraid that I am out of the loop!

Thanks everyoneChat Icon
