Baby Girl Room Themes
what are you ladies thinking of doing with the nursery for a lil girl??l 
i know i do not want an overload of pink .. think i am going to stick with purples. right now i am liking the baby jungle theme.. but am still undecided
what are you ladies thinking of doing?

my ils think im crazy for not wanting anyyyyyyyyyy pink.
i was pro yellow but dh had other plans which i ended up loving. we are doing a light shade of purple and green. all of her furniture will be white and the theme is fish/under the sea.
it wasnt easy finding bedding that would work for a girl but i think i did good

I was just going to do a color scheme, gray yellow and white.
The walls are going to be a purple gray color. Trying not to have an explosion of pink.

I am  and I dont have a theme per say. We painted the room a blue green (in the muted teal family) w/white wainscotting on the lower 1/2 of the walls. I am making an accent wall by stenciling a damask design in a light shimmery silver. I didnt register for bedding b/c I wont use the bumpers or the quilt so I feel like its a waste for me. When the babes is born if its a , I will add some soft touches of pink (like you, I'm not a fan of the heavy pink rooms). I will also add some shabby chick touches.

I am doing a butterfly theme. I have the BRU bedding set "Olivia". The walls are a beige color and I am just putting the wall decals on. I am not going to go overboard with everything, although it is so much fun to shop for her.

We are thinking of getting this bedding without the bumpers and just doing accents of lightpink .. Like getting a light pink throw rug, a light pink lamp, and some gray and light pink accents for the walls.

I didn't want an overload of pink either so we went with beige walls with pink accents (bedding, curtains, etc)

Too funny... glad I could help! Now If i could only find curtains for her closet and a crib skirt (since I didnt buy the whole collection), I'd be in good shape right about now

her room is a soft green color and i will add pinks and white to it. i found an adorable tree decal that i will put on the wall by her crib and a bedding set at PB that matches it perfectly and has little birds on it. its not an overload of pink which is what i like. on the opposite side i'll do her name over the dresser (im always paranoid the letters will fall into the crib while the babys in there so i did the same for my DS). i want to find a small rug for the room thats mostly white with some pinks and greens in it. thats about it. its not a very big room so less is more.

if i didnt have black furniture and have to work around that, which i happened to just post about, i would do a color scheme of pink green and white. my second option would be a pale yellow color scheme. im not very creative so although i would like to be a person to come up with an actual theme other than just colors, i would have to give that a lot of though. ill get back to ya
