baby is a nightmare sleeping at night all of a sudden-need advice!
My DD cant be in a swaddle without ripping out of it..she is 9 weeks and 11pds 6 ounces..she loves her swing and sleeps in it like a charm..so, i try to put her in the crib, she is out like a light and swaddled, within 15 minutes, she is up screaming and a mess..so i tried the miracle blanket, she got her arms out? Maybe i am not doing it tight enough?? She is trying to suck her fingers so i think that is why she is breaking out..she cant do it, obviously loves the pacifier but cant keep it in her mouth..
Any moms out there with good advice for me? I have no clue what to do..do i keep putting her back down and try without the swaddle, she has an awful startle reflex..i am beside myself..she was sleeping in 6 hours stretches at times and at the very least 4 hour ones, now, she only wants to go in the swing to sleep..it is crazy, i dont want her in that habit at night?

The miracle blanket was my savior! Try doing it tighter......I used to think I would suffocate DS, but he never did break out of it!

I'm not familiar with the miracle blanket...can you use it with the arms out so DC can get fingers in the mouth?

Is the miracle blanket the same as a Swaddle Me? We use a Swaddle Me at night at it works great. If not, I think DS would be waking himself due to the flailing (judgiing how he is at nap times / during the day). He resists at 1st, but it does seem to soothe him. He is still only 2 weeks old, but this has been working for us. I just bought more at BRU yesterday.

Rylan had a really bad startle reflex also. I know it's not for everyone but we started sleeping him on his belly and it worked wonders!! I think he was around 6 weeks when we started.
