Baby Josh has croup...
and he is soooo miserable. I want my happy go lucky smiling little handsome back. I feel so bad for him. I cannot comfort him in any way. The ped has him on steroids to reduce the inflammation in his throat and it's keeping him awake. If he doesnt sound any better in the next few hours I have to bring him to the ER for IV therapy. Im so upset....

I'm sorry you're going through this. Mine doesn't have the croup, but something's going on and I can understand your sadness and frustration.
I guess we gotta hang in there.

Its a horrible feeling to not be able to console your child. I think I might have cried harder than he did. He's finally quiet for now. DH gave hima a bath and he's sleeping in his arms for now.
