Baby shower at work... question

I work in a female-dominated environment and the ladies threw me a fabulous baby shower last week. Some gifts were from individual people or pairs, and a few were from groups (anywhere from 3 to 15 people).

Do I need to send a thank you card to each person who contributed to group gifts? Or do I address one thank you card to a group and circulate it around? This would mean the difference between writing 15-20 thank you cards and 40-50. What's the proper etiquette?

Personally I would write each one their own...I think it looks better

Unfortunately, I also say one to each individual. They all contributed money and time and effort and it would make them each feel special if they got their own. I know 40-50 thank you's is a HUGE undertaking but it's the right thing to do and it will be acknowledged and appreciated!!

I did one to the group - with all the names from the group on it, then there were a few individual gifts I also wrote out too.
