Baby Shower Gift (not yet received) question...
so a friend of mine and her sister gave us the infant car seat for my shower - but she didn't bring it into the place because she "thought it would be easier for me not to open it at the shower and just bring it to my house"... we had an "after party", and she didn't come (she lives around the block)... and, so, my shower was 2 weeks ago, and she still hasn't brought it over.
What would you do??? I'm on bed rest and it's not like I can get in a car to go pick it up - and she's always out with her friends in the city... so the weekends are always a no go.
I am 33 wks, but my dr doesn't think I'm going to go full term... so I would like to get the seat installed and inspected by the end of next week.
How would you handle this?
If I'm being ridiculous in worrying about this... tell me... I'm up for a reality check too!

I would just call her and tell her you have an appointment to get the carseat inspected and if she could please drop it off that would be great..

I'd probably give her another week and then do the above. I don't think you are being rediculous at all! Is the seat actually off your registry?

Yes, the seat was taken off the registry - and I have the gift receipt showing the purchase... so I know she has it. It's just so frustrating...
