I threw a shower last year and we played the candy bar poo game. We bought cheapo diapers and candy bars. Melted the candy into the diapers and had people guess the candy - we used m&m's, reese's cups, chunky bar, snickers, etc..
For prizes (she's PR so it was a co-ed shower) I made like a movie basket with a jumbo popcorn bucket, candy, etc...and some other non-gender specific prizes.

Since we are team 
and I am so not traditional, my shower I feel was truly unique. I did Fuscia and Tiffany blue as my colors! Which tied in w. invite. Our theme was a "teddy bear picnic". Every table had a birdhouse as a centerpiece w/ an Anne Gedes Picture tying in w/ the name of the table.
Ex: Blooming Babies Table
Had pic of flower babies
Beary Special Table
Had pic of Babies dressed as bears
It was cute and different!
