Babysitter / mother's helper - how much?
I know there are lots of threads on this topic but the scenarios are all different.
I work from home, I have two kids - a 4 1/2 year old and a 15 month old.
I have just hired a babysitter to come for 2 1/2 hours per day to play with the kids. She is 29, who much do you think is fair for the 2 1/2 hours?
note: I usually take my 15 month old for a quick walk during this time to get him to sleep so she usually only has him for 1 1/2.
TIA.

I'd think you'd have to pay $15 for a 29yo babysitter when you work at home.
I plan to get a mother's helper when I am a SAHM. I was going to get a responsible high school or college student to come play with my kids while I fix dinner everyday for about 3 hours a day. I was planning on paying $10/hour. I'd think getting a hs kid and a 29 yo would be different in cost?
