Backyard baptism menu help please
I fell like I always have the same stuff for my parties looking for some new ideas.
So far I am doing: chicken/fresh mozz/roasted pepper hero sausage and peppers chicken parm
crock pot mac and cheese and chicken nuggets (kids)
Garden salad pot/mac salad
I usually do penne alla vodka and eggplant rollatini but I feel like it is so much red sauce.
What are you other go to catered dishes? thanks!

what you have sounds good so far..........what about this, too?
Marinated shrimp & artichokes. Delicious!
also.......maybe a quiche? those always are a hit, it seems.
I recently had prosciutto-wrapped cantaloupe..sounds gross, but it was really tasty.

Re: Backyard baptism menu help please
My SIL just had my nephew's baptism this weekend and had a similar menu...
They had: grilled chicken/mozzarella/red pepper hero zucchini/mozzarella/red pepper hero grilled, sliced filet mignon (cold) grilled veggies penne ala vodka potato salad field greens with goat cheese, mandarin oranges, candied pecans
It was good because it wasn't too much hot food (since it was hot out) and it was easy to prepare because most of it was cooked ahead (though they had a waitress).

Ditto, but I'd leave out the eggplant rollatini. I think you have enough similar stuff.
