Bad batch of formula?
I just bought 2 containers of powdered formula (Similaic Sensitive) & when I made a bottle it smelled funny.
I know it always smells bad because we've been using this for 2 months but this smelled worse.
I dumped it & re-steralized the bottle, drank the water to check it & made another one but it still smells different.
It was sealed & expiration is 2013.
I can't figure it out.
Should I toss the containers?
Well, I would probably try to returning them or calling Similaic if anything.
Has this ever happened?

I had this happen once. I called and they had me give the lot #, etc. THey also reimbursed me.

Just thinking back...was it a plastic canister or one of the round, smaller canisters? The smell I had was in one of the smaller round canisters. It almost smelled like BLEACH. I think it was the packaging, but I wouldn't use the formula no matter what anyway.
