Bad haircolor job - vent
Sorry - just need to vent...
The hairdresser that I've used for years has taken a leave of absense. So I've been stuck going to places to get my color taken care of...
I've now gone 2 different places, and now my hair color is really bad. This weekend I went to a salon, and my roots are light brown/orange, and the rest of my hair is a medium dark brown. I don't want anything spectacular, I just don't want grey hair!!
I can't make it to another salon this week to fix it, so it's going to have to wait for the weekend. I'm so frustrated. I think I'm going to go to Bangz this time, I see them recommended here a bunch of times.
Thanks for listening...

wow, sorry to hear that, that stinks! my sister in law is a hairdresser and told me that if you don't like the color of your hair to wash it with clarifying shampoo or head and shoulders, those 2 strip your hair color. maybe try doing this until you can get to the salon.

That happened to me once. After that, I splurged and I got my hair done in a nice salon in the city. They fixed my color and I was so happy. Good luck.

I agree, splurge and go to a salon in NYC.

It's not necessary to go to NYC and spend $500 for a decent colorist, but I wouldn't go to some random place either -
Where do you live?
Also, if you're hair is 'just' bronw w/o any crazy highlights or anything, you can always do it yourself if you're JUST getting rid of the greys -

Re: Bad haircolor job - vent
Thanks...
I thought it was going to be OK considering it was 60 bucks for a single process. I guess that proves just because it is pricey doesn't mean that it's good!
I always think about doing it at home myself, but then get scared. Then again at this point how much worse can it get! Maybe I will try in the future, but at this point I think it needs to be professionally fixed.
