Bad news.... **update#3**
Last night, I had some red bleeding dripping into the toilet and when I wiped. I am still bleeding this morning (after crying all night and getting no sleep). I just knew those numbers were too high....
I am going to call my RE in a few minutes and go in. Not sure what they are going to do...I guess take my blood to see if my levels are going down. Not sure if a sono would be helpful this early.
Please pray for me and DH
**update #1 at the bottom**
**update #2** Well, the thing I have been dreading happened today...I went to the bathroom and the bright red blood is back. My RE said not to worry about old, brown blood. But, that red blood means an increased risk for miscarriage. I am going to go in early tomorrow morning and ask for another sono. This is the worst emotional rollercoaster I have ever been on....
**update #3** OK, went to the doc today and he was so nice and helpful. The bad news is that the bleed did get bigger....it went from less than a centimeter to 1 and 3/4 centimeters. My RE said that he has seen much larger ones that ended in healthy pregnancies and that we just have to keep hoping. He also saw...2 hb's!!! The one that I had seen last week is doing great...exactly the right size for 6wks and has a strong hb. The other one is much smaller, but we could still see a little flutter hb. The doc said it was too early to tell if that one would be viable.
Anyway, I just need to pray and rest. I got a note for my FT job (I work with kids with autism, so it is pretty strenuous) and will be taking a leave from my PT job (at a group home).
Thank you ladies for your continued support and prayers!!!

Re: Bad news....
I'm so sorry. I will be praying for both of you. I really hope the bleeding doesn't mean the end of this pregnancy.

Re: Bad news....
How bad is the bleeding? with my son I did have some bright red blood at around the 7 week mark. Everything that I read online indicated that I was probably having a MC. The spotting wasn't heavy but it was bright red. Try to hang in there. Sometimes bleeding is okay. The wait between bloodwork is the hardest part.

Re: Bad news....
OK, just got back from the doc....they did a sono and saw one yolk sac (only a singleton, weird!) and a bleed behind it. She said it wasn't a huge bleed and called it a sub____ hematoma (can't remember the full name). I have read that some other women on here have had that, so please let me know if any of you did! She looked at my cervix and ovaries and said they look good.
The doctor said that she thinks it will be ok, but I have to stay home and basically rest for the next few days. She said that a lot of times these things work themselves out, so we just have to hope this is one of those times.
I am still sooooo nervous. I would just like to be normal for once! So, please keep us in your prayers. Thank you so much for the support and kind words, they really go a long way!

I myself had a sub-chorionic hematoma and they generally either get reabsorbed by your body or "bleed out" which is what mine did...From what I was told it is very common with IVF and as you can see, my DD is 11 months old so it did indeed work itself out ....Its is still very nerve wracking so I know exactly what you are going through ( I would literally hold my breath everytime I needed to use the ladies room because I was afraid of what I might see )...On top of that, after that resolved I ended up with placenta previa , so continued to bleed for the whole 9 months ...
Hang in there

Re: Bad news.... **update**
I'm not sure if that was what I had with DS #1 but I bled red (sorry TMI!) through about 6 weeks. Went for sonos in weeks 5 and 6 and Dr said he saw the blood and that it should be gone in a few days and he was right. DS is now over 2 years old and DC #2 is on the way!
Don't give up hope! Sending lots of your way!

Re: Bad news.... **update**
Great news! You just have to stay off google because if you do a search all you will find are things telling you that you are having a MC, which is clearly not the case. I drove myself crazy, I was convinced I would lose the baby and it didn't happen. It's so hard when you see blood but I do think it is very very common. Hang in there and enjoy a couple of days of relaxation!!!

I had a subchorionic hematoma too - At about 7.5 weeks I bled heavy & red and was certain I was miscarrying. I had just been released from my RE but I called them instead of my OB who I hadn't seen yet.... I went in for a sono and the heart was beating nice & strong. They saw the bleeding in the uterus and confirmed what it was - I was told to take it super easy and it would most likely resolve itself. It was gone by 12 weeks and the baby is just fine! I am almost 28 weeks now with a very healthy little girl!
Hang in there - take it super easy - Everything will be fine!

I had some bleeding last week and I was very nervous as well but it turned out to be nothing. I did a lot of reading online and something that stood out to me is that it is very common in pregnancies that resulted from IVF or sometimes from other fertility treatments.
I'm praying that everything is ok and that you will have a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Re: Bad news.... **update**
Thank you so much, ladies!!! It is very helpful for me to hear that so many of you have been through this and have had successful pregnancies! I really do have to stay off the internet....it has been somewhat helpful, but is also driving me nuts!
The bleeding has pretty much stopped today and I am hoping that I won't have to go through that again, but know that I may bleed some more.
Thank you again, everyone, for your prayers and support!
