my friend had a bad SCH and bled a lot during her first tri. they monitored her and measured it to watch it shrink. i think it is gone now and her pregnancy has been fine otherwise. she had to rest as much as possible too.

Sooo, I am STILL bleeding brown blood. My RE says that brown blood is OK because it is old, but it is still frustrating and scary 
I just want my u/s on Thursday to be here, so I can see where I am at. I will be shaking when I go in for that!

I forgot to say this when i replied to your fm, but try not to do much of anything physical. Lifting, cleaning, laundry, etc, def made my bleeding much worse!

I bled on and off brown-red-brown-red for weeks and as I mentioned in a pp, as nerve wracking as it was, it all worked out in the end ...
The way it was explained to me ( and if you viusalize it, it makes sense)...The SCH is basically a pocket of blood that works its way out over time....Please keep us posted !!!

Try not to worry too much. With my son, I spotted twice a couple weeks apart, and it was bright red blood. I know how nerve wracking it can be but try not to worry.

This is somewhat common but it needs to be treated using Lovenox and/or steroids. It is very important that you see Dr. Kofinas in Garden City ASAP as he specializes in this. A blood clot which is not treated can permenantly damage the placenta and prevent your babies from surviving. The overwhelming majority of OBs and REs do not treat this condition properly!!!! As long as it is treated by a doctor who understands this condition and follows a protocol for it, the babies will be fine!

Thank you all sooo much!
Tonight, I had a big gush of blood when I stood up from dinner...it went through a panty liner, my underwear and pants. UGH! It pretty much stopped right after that and didn't include any clots, so I am praying it is just the SCH coming out....
I, seriously, wouldn't wish this situation on my worst enemy!
