barking dog outside

I just moved and every single night since i moved from 10pm-1;30am there is a dog outside barking, i assume to go inside.

It breaks my heart and makes my dog upset, he cries hearing this every night. I don't what to do, but I lie awake every night to make sure the dog goes inside, meaning barking stops. I can't sleep until it stops. I don't know which neighbor it is, is there anything I can do, call? It is really sad, especially in weather like we have now. I know i have to do something, but not sure how to handle it. Any advice would be appreciated. thanks

Are you in Nassau? I would call your local animal control and see what advice they can give you. They'll let you know what the laws are in your area. Is there any way you could try to find out which neighbor it is? People like this make me so angry!

Thank you for being a decent person and doing this. Most people would not be bothered. Poor dog, out for hours in this weather. Let me know what the town says. Good luck!
