Bathroom Redo
Anyone have general quotes to do a new bathroom? We will demo but need someone to expand it and then redo it. We got one quote for $20K which we thought was really high. Still waiting others but we thought more like $12K-15K. We are not going to the highest priced items!

If you are looking to expand it, that is why. That will be more expensive than just redoing it on the original foot print.

Re: Bathroom Redo
It really depends what you mean by "expand." Are you moving a wall? That's another $2-3k. Are you moving plumbing? That could be $5k+.
Figure a base of at least $10-12k and go up from there.
We redid our bathroom and moved 1 wall. We moved the shower plumbing, but kept the sink and toilet. Had we moved them, we would have added $$$. It was part of a larger project, but our bathroom itself was about $14k of it.
