Battery Park - NYC Questions
My first question is if there is parking. I will be taking my niece to the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island and I am undecided if I should drive or take the train.
I am also looking for recommendations on places to eat in the area.

yes, this place is very nice too.

Re: Battery Park - NYC Questions
I would call Fraunces Tavern because the last I heard, they were closed for new management. I can't recommend that place though since I've had bad experiences there.

I work in the area though and if you are going on a weekend, parking is pretty cheap. Some lots are like 13 bucks all day. I personally hate driving in the city though so i'd still recommend the train.
Battery gardens is where we have our holiday party. It's pretty expensive if you're not looking to spend too much money.
Stone street was a good suggestion...Ulysses has great burgers.
South Street Seaport has alot of great shops and restaurants too.
