BDing and POAS time frame
Curious for future reference - - would it make any difference in your Test Results (for pregnancy) if you were to POAS the morning after a night of BDing?
I mean more in the aspect of not trying to conceive that night. Let's say you BD'd while Oing weeks ago and tomorrow morning is the day you should POAS. Should you NOT BD the night before even if you both want to? Would that (meaning any of the 'left overs' from sex) affect the outcome of a pregnancy test at all?
This is probably a dumb question (sorry) I was just thinking about this today and couldn't find any info online.

No, having sex the night before you POAS will not affect the outcome in any way. His semen will not cause you to have a false positive (or false negative) since the pregancy test looks for a specific pregnancy hormone that you will have in your urine a certain number of days after conceiving.
Not a stupid question! If you don't know, then you have to ask, right?!?

Re: BDing and POAS time frame
thanks so much for getting back to me on that. I felt like such an idiot asking, but i was so curious. I mean, I know the pregnancy test detects a hormone in your urine, but I was trying to figure out if semen IN the urine would cause a false result somehow. Glad it doesn't.
thanks again

I think we ALL have questions at one point or another that we feel stupid asking, but if we don't ask, we won't know! And I bet there's at least one other person out there that wondered the same thing.
